Our Story
Ambitious students are often fueled by big dreams, but the journey can be daunting without the right resources. From navigating college admissions to landing internships, so many are left to figure it all out on their own—without access to the right support, opportunities, or connections.

ThriveSpace was built to change that—to offer more than just a community, but a resource-rich environment that empowers students with the tools, connections, and confidence to move forward in their educational and professional journeys.
Founded by Hannah Shirley, a first-generation student who navigated every step of the college and career process on her own, ThriveSpace was born out of Hannah’s personal journey—from transferring from community college to UC Berkeley, to figuring out student loans, securing internships, and building a resume without a clear roadmap. Through years of trial and error, late-night research, and relentless self-advocacy, she eventually found her footing. It was then that she realized how many other students were still facing the same challenges.
ThriveSpace is the community she wished existed—built to support students who are ready to take control of their futures with expert guidance, curated resources, and the kind of real-world opportunities that open doors.
